Account

Account & Subscription

For account issues, first confirm your login details, plan type, and whether the subscription is synchronized. Subscription content comes from the user panel, so the local copy in the client must be refreshed manually. When changing devices, retrieve it from the panel again.

What do I need to prepare to create an account?

No email address is required. Just choose a username and password. Use a username that is easy to recognize but not shared with other websites, and keep your login details secure. After creating your account, you can choose a plan, get the client, and view subscription details from the user panel.

How should I choose between a monthly subscription and a data package?

A monthly subscription suits steady usage and ongoing access, with data resetting each month on the activation date. Data packages remain available until used and never expire, making them a better fit for irregular usage or users who want to control their consumption over time. Check your device’s usage history before choosing based on your actual needs.

How do I sync the client after updating my subscription link?

Find the current subscription in the client and run its update, refresh, or sync action, then wait for the route list to reload. If the old content remains, delete the local subscription and copy it again from the user panel before importing it. Your subscription link is an account access credential; do not publish it publicly or forward it to untrusted people.

Do I need to purchase again when I change devices?

You do not need to purchase again simply because you changed devices. QGVPN has no limit on the number of devices online at the same time, and the same account subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Get the client and subscription for a new device from the user panel. When an old device is no longer in use, remove its saved subscription details.

Connection

Connection & Errors

When a connection fails, first determine whether the client failed to connect or whether it connected but the request did not use the route correctly. Temporarily reducing the number of network tools running at once can prevent proxy settings from overriding one another.

Why does the client say it is connected while webpages still will not open?

Connected only means that the client completed its local connection process; it does not necessarily mean the request is correctly using the route. Try changing routes, reopening the browser, checking whether the client controls the system proxy, and temporarily closing other tools that modify network settings. If only one website is affected, the cause may be that site’s current route or cache state.

Why is a particular app not using the proxy?

A common cause is rule mode: the app’s domain or connection method may not match a proxy rule. Switch to global mode for comparison. If global mode works, return to the rule settings and review the split-routing entries. Also check that the app has not enabled its own proxy, dedicated DNS, or an option that bypasses the system network settings.

What should I check first if importing a subscription fails?

First confirm that you copied the complete subscription content from the user panel, with nothing missing at either end and no extra spaces. Then check whether the client allows imports from the clipboard or a URL, and try reopening the client. If the subscription was edited manually, delete the entry and import it again instead of continuing to modify a damaged local copy.

How can I recover after disconnecting when switching networks?

When a device switches from one network to another, the existing connection may lose its usable network path. Disconnect the client first, confirm that ordinary webpages open on the current network, and reconnect to a route. If the connection is still unavailable, try another route or fully quit and reopen the client so the system can rebuild its proxy and DNS state.

Routes

Speed & Routes

QGVPN covers 110+ countries and 220+ routes. The route count provides options across different regions and network topologies, but actual performance is still affected by the local network, target service, and time of day, so troubleshooting should include comparison tests.

How should I choose a route during peak-hour slowdowns?

Peak-hour slowdowns are usually linked to route congestion, the target service’s load, and fluctuations in the local network. Do not repeatedly reconnect to the same route. Compare direct, transit, and dedicated routes, prioritizing stability during sustained use. After switching, reopen the task being streamed or downloaded so the old connection no longer occupies the original route.

Is the nearest route always the fastest?

Not necessarily. Geographic distance affects only part of the path. Real-world performance also depends on carrier interconnection, route type, peak-hour congestion, and the target service’s region. A nearby direct route may have lower latency, while a transit or dedicated route may be more stable for sustained transfers. Choose based on your use case and the connection’s behavior over time.

What should I do if a video opens but keeps buffering during playback?

Pause playback and try another route in the same region, then reload the video page. If the quality is set high, switch temporarily to Auto so the player can adjust to the current connection. Stop background sync, cloud uploads, or large updates on the device, since they compete with video for local bandwidth. If only one platform is affected, try a route closer to that platform’s service region.

How can I troubleshoot interruptions in long-lived AI tool connections?

AI chat and coding tools often use continuous responses, so even a brief route change can interrupt the current output. Avoid frequent network changes and deep power-saving mode during use, and choose a route that remains stable over time. If the browser works but a command-line tool does not, check whether the command-line process is reading the correct system proxy environment.

Billing

Billing & Refunds

Monthly subscriptions and data packages use different data rules. Before placing an order, confirm the plan name, data tier, and payment method. After the order is completed, check its status in the user panel; if manual verification is needed, submit the details through a ticket.

What monthly subscription prices and data allowances are available?

Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets each month on the activation date. Consider your actual usage for video, file syncing, development tools, and everyday web access rather than judging a plan only by one-off speed.

When does monthly data reset, and what happens if I upgrade mid-cycle?

Monthly data resets on the activation date, not at the start of each calendar month. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated across the remaining days. Before upgrading, check your current plan, remaining data, and active status in the user panel, then confirm that the new tier fits your upcoming needs.

Do data packages expire?

Data packages remain available until used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Unlike monthly subscriptions, which reset each month, they suit users with longer gaps between sessions or those who want to keep unused data available. Confirm whether you need a monthly subscription or a data package before purchasing.

How do I request a refund?

QGVPN offers 30-day refunds without requiring a reason. To apply, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket describing the relevant order and refund request so the subscription and payment records can be verified. You can troubleshoot client settings and route selection first; if you still want a refund, keep the order details complete.

Which payment methods are supported?

Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported. After choosing a plan in the user panel, complete payment using the methods shown on the checkout page. Verify the plan type and data tier before paying. Do not submit the same order again after payment; if the status has not updated, refresh the order page later or contact support through a ticket.
